These washcloths can be used in the kitchen as well, and are a great eco-friendly alternative to paper towels. Absorbent and soft, they can mop up messes, wipe down tables, and then be thrown in with the regular laundry to get clean again.

Inspiration

I was inspired to write this pattern after seeing the My Favorite Dishcloth designed by Melissa from WoodsandWool. I loved the way that the Dishie yarn created a speckled look, but I wanted to create something that had a looser texture and used a larger crochet hook because I wanted it to work up quickly.

The result was a squishy, super soft washcloth that is perfect for adding a handmade touch to your bathrooms, kitchen, and laundry room!
